Pope Benedict visits Indiana, Confederate States of America

At least, that's what it looks like. Behind the pope are the flags of Indiana and the Confederate States. Next to His Holiness is some idiot in a suit. What's with the Confederate flag?

I don't know but I love it!

Jefferson Davis, Pres of the Confederate States of America, was given a Crown of Thorns woven by the then Pope while he was in yankee prison. This Crown of Thorns in now in the New Orleans Confederate Museum. At the time of the Union War there were more Catholics in the South than in the North. Pres. Jefferson Davis in th 1880s was baptized a Catholic before he died. The Battle Hymn of the Republic was a terrible song to play to honor the Pope, because that is a WAR SONG and the very song that the yankee sang as they raped, burned, killed soldiers and civilians from 1861-1865. The yankee re constructionist came into Southern Schools and taught little Southern Children to sing this song, they knew not what it was about.
